The first time I met the principal, I felt at ease and comfortable. I knew that I could learn from these people who are also close to HIM; which is really very important. Their passion for children inspired me so much. I’ve learned through my experience and HIS, that there are many lessons that each student will learn through their lives. The most important lessons are to respect and love each other. As we work together, we inspire each other and work hard to help these kids. We come together with one purpose: To nurture and to mold each student as a whole so that they will be good citizens and children of God.

– I was delighted to have the opportunity to work at Heritage. Everyone at the school was very welcoming and made teaching at the school enjoyable and straight forward. The school operates a truly international curriculum which is interesting and varied to teach. The curriculum resources ranges from interesting and colourful subject text books greatly enjoyed by the children, to the TPR [total physical response] Jolly Phonics programme; which makes grammar and phonics pleasurable for both students and teachers alike. The result of the school’s caring ethos is that the children are kind, polite and eager to learn.

Dear Heritage,
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for asking me to teach at HIS! It has been a great experience for me these past two years as a head teacher, and for several years before as a substitute teacher. I have found all the staff to be very committed to the school and to the education of the students. My fellow teachers were very helpful and encouraging to me many times. I found the school to be run very efficiently, and I was always given everything that I needed to be the best teacher I could be! Vice Principal Leony was always very kind, encouraging and helpful to me, and she took the time to answer questions and provided guidance when needed. The office staff is the best! Whenever I came into the office to ask the question, which seemed to be often, they always greeted me politely and with a smile, and never made me feel like I was bothering them in any way. Whatever I needed, I was always given if it was available, and I appreciated this very much! Heritage International School is a great school and a great place to work!

Teaching at Heritage was such an amazing experience! It presented an extremely welcoming environment! In the years I worked there, I came to think of it as a second home. I enjoyed every day spent with the students. During the times when I was unsure of how to introduce a new concept to the students, the Principal, Vice Principal, and Head of Preschool were always eager to help come up with new ideas based on the individual needs of each student. I was always encouraged to never settle for ordinary, but to always work towards developing the unique strengths and talents of each student. The school strives to provide a loving and productive environment with the goal of training the future leaders of Cambodia to be thoughtful, caring, and well educated in all areas. Working with students was truly a most rewarding experience and I thank God every day for it! Teaching at Heritage provided a unique and incredible opportunity to care for, and touch the lives of the children of Cambodia.
