Admission Procedures
The school admission procedure is a major stepping stone for a child before entering the extensive world of education
- 1- Parents who wish to enroll your child in Heritage International School (H.I.S) must place your child on our waiting list.
- 2- Depending on the individual circumstance of each child, he or she may be required to take an entrance exam
- 3- After an applicant has been selected to take an admittance test, the administrator will determine if HIS accepts the applicant. Prior to final acceptance, a meeting with the administrator, the child and his or her parents will be arranged.
- 4- The approval of the administrator and the tuition payment confirms the enrollment of a child into H.I.S.
Admission Requirements for the Students
Admission Requirements for Basic education enrollees. Before entering school student applicants or their parents must satisfy various admission requirements
- 1. Children must be 3 years old to be eligible for Buds and 6 year old to be eligible for First grade
- 2. However, through assessment tests or other evidence, the school may determine that the child is not adequately prepared, either academically or emotionally, for the next sequential grade level.
- 3. The child should understand that his/her parents have delegated their authority to the school. Therefore, he/she is subject to the instruction and discipline of the teachers and administrator at HIS.
- 4. The school reserves the right to not admit/re-admit any student or students whose enrollment would not be in the best interest of the school, the family, or the child.
- 5. HIS does not discriminate in its admission policy, based on race, national origin, religion, or sex.
Admission Requirements for the Parents
A child is considered for admission at the purchase of an application form Class Parents can register children anytime during the academic session
- 1. Families who are delinquent in payment of tuition to HIS are not eligible for re-enrollment at Heritage International School for the next school year until the delinquent payment is made.
- 2. Parents are expected to cooperate with all written HIS policies. This is essential in the area of discipline and school work standards, as well as active communication with the respective teacher(s) and administration.
